OVERVIEW: The goal was to create a timeline that featured ligatures from different typefaces in an interesting and clean manner.

PROBLEM: The project needed to be designed quickly and combined with another element that cemented its purpose in a clearly communicated layout.

SOLUTION: Choosing historical fabric as my extra element, I created a simple horizontal spread that featured attractive contrast, minimalistic design and consistent typography to develop an efficient timeline. 

RESULT: This timeline has been used by university professors as a solid example of clean typography and effective design.
